(Bill 64) 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO CLEARING OCCUPIED AND
UNOCCUPIED LOTS
From Council Member Zendo Kern, dated April 12, 2013. Changes the title of Article 2 to
“Clearing Occupied and Unoccupied Lots” {adds “Occupied and”}; adds definitions for
“Refuse,” “Undergrowth,” and “Unsafe flora;” changes title Section 20-21 to “Removal of
refuse, undergrowth, and unsafe flora required” {adds “refuse” and “, and unsafe flora”} and
amends that section; and changes title of Section 20-22 to “Complaint by adjacent or abutting
owner(s), request to clear” {adds “or abutting,” deletes “owners,” and adds “owner(s)}” and
amends that section.
Bill 64 referred to the Director of the Department of Environmental Management and
the Environmental Management Commission for review and comment pursuant to
Hawai‘i County Code Section 2-207:
