OF AN AD HOC COMMITTEE
FORMATION
From Human Services and Social Services Committee Chair Karen Eoff, dated
January 16, 2013, describing the nonprofit grant review process and requesting formation
of an ad hoc committee, pursuant to HRS Section 92-2.5(b). The ad hoc committee is
expected to conduct reviews and interviews of applicants for the County’s annual
nonprofit grant awards and make a report back to the Human Services and Social Services
Committee.

Comm. 92.4: RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2013-2014 APPROPRIATIONS FOR
GRANTS TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
From Human Services and Social Services Committee Chair Karen Eoff, dated
March 28, 2013, transmitting the HSSSC Ad Hoc Committee recommendations for grant
funding to nonprofit organizations for inclusion in the County of Hawai‘i Operating
Budget for Fiscal Year 2013-2014. The recommendations have been developed through a
review of all applications and interviews with each applicant.

(There is a pending motion made by Mr. Kanuha and duly seconded by Mr. Kern to close
file on Comm. 92.4 and approve recommendations of the ad hoc committee.)
