Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 63,
reports as follows:
Bill No. 63, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H. Lee, via Communication No. 243
dated April 12, 2013, amends Chapter 24, Article 10 (Schedules), Division 5 (parking),
Section 24-280, Schedule 28 (No parking at anytime), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii
County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) relating to parking.
The intent of this amendment is to establish a no parking at anytime zone to include the Keauhou
Punahele driveway and a seventy-five foot portion of Ali`i Drive north of Kaleiopapa Street.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Bill No. 63, and recommends its passage on first reading.
