RESOLUTION NO. 377
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 101 , the Finance
Committee recommended the creation and abolition of the
following positions in the departments hereinafter noted:
1 . Department of Parks and recreation Section 8.26( aV
Create one new position of Recreational Leader SR-)
2 . Department. of Hilo Hospital , General Hospital Division
Section 8 . 12( a)j
Create one new position of Pharmacist SR-17
Create one new position of Head Nurse SR-15
Abolish one position of Registered Nurse SR- 11
3 . Department of Janitorial Services (DPI )
Section 8 .227
Create one position of Automotive Mechanic I SR-11;
WHEREAS , in accordance with the advice of the Department
of Civil Service , Committee Report No. 101 of the Finance
Committee recommended the reclassification of one position
of Welder SR- 11 to ?welder Automotive Mechanic SR-11 in the
Division of Automotive Equipment and Rotor Pool (DPW) (Section
8 .25) ; and
WHEREAS , by said Committee R :ort No. 101 , the Finance
Committee further recommended the extension of employment of
one temporary position of Editor , Procedural Manual SR- 16
heretofore created in the Department of Hilo Hospital ,
Puumaile Division Section 8 . 12( b7, until June 30 , 1962;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
in and for the County of Hawaii that the following positions
are hereby created and abolished in the departments hereinafter
noted:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that one position of !fielder SR-ll
is hereby reclassified to 'fielder Automotive Mechanic SR-li
in the Division of Automotive Equipment and Motor Pool (DP;!)
(Section 8 .23) .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the period of employment of
one temporary position of Editor , Procedural manual SR-16 is
hereby extended until June 30 , 1962 in the Department of Hilo
Hospital , Puumaile Division Section 8 . 12( b)7.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the Salary Ordinance is
next, amended the new positions hereinabove created, the
position hereinabove abolished, and the position hereinabove
reclassified be noted therein .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is
hereby directed to send a copy of' this resolution to the
Departments of Parks and Recreation, Public ':forks , Hilo
Hospital , Janitorial Services (DPI ) , Civil Service , County
Auditor, and County Attorney for their information.
