HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 385 Draft 01 1962 COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 385 WHEREAS , Act 255, Session Laws of Hawaii 1)5), relating to compensation of public officers and employees provided for increases in salaries of said public officers and employees ; and WHEREAS, said Act provided the counties with sufficient monies to pay for said increases in compensation for their officers and employees up to June 50 , 1961 ; and WHEREAS, the Legislature has failed to appropriate additional monies to pay for said increases in compensation after June 50 , 1961 ; and WHEREAS , it is essential that the State continue to appropriate from its general revenues for the counties , sufficient monies to provide for said increases in compen- sation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that the Legis- lature of the State of Hawaii be and is hereby respectfully requested to provide the counties with sufficient monies to meet the increases in compensation of employees as provided in Act 255 , Session Laws of Hawaii 195) . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and she is hereby directed to forward copies of this resolution to the Honorable William H.
