Dear Chairman J. Yoshimoto:
Please excuse Theresa L. Andreae from appearing in person before the County Council for her
nomination to serve on the Kailua Village Design Commission. Theresa is not able to attend in person
because of injuries she has recently sustained, but says that she will be able to be available for
questions from her home via telephone. Please have staff contact her if needed.
Theresa Andreae has served a remainder term of less than one year ending on December 31, 2012, and
has already gone through the review by the Planning Committee and County Council at the beginning
of 2012, and is now seeking nomination for a consecutive three year-term to end on December 31,
2015. This being the case, you may wish to consider excusing her from appearing before the County
Council a second time.
However, if you wish to have the Council members ask her answer questions; please have your staff
setup a speaker phone, to allow Theresa to respond to the County Council's questions from her home.
