Serving the Interests of the People of our Island Hawai‘i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer GREDC- 5 Page 2 May 14, 2013 Comm. 258: INITIATES AN AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE III, SECTION 3-18, OF THE (Bill 70) HAWAI‘I COUNTY CHARTER (2012 EDITION), RELATING TO QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE OFFICE OF THE LEGISLATIVE AUDITOR From Council Member Dennis “Fresh” Onishi, dated April 23, 2013. Amends current provisions to require as a prerequisite that the Legislative Auditor be certified as an internal auditor and possess a permit to practice as a certified public accountant as issued by the State of Hawai‘i. Postponed Bill 70 to June 4, 2013. Ayes: Committee Members Eoff, Ford, Kanuha, Kern, Poindexter, Onishi, Wille, Yoshimoto, and Vice Chair Ilagan - 9. Noes: None. Absent: None. The email shall indicate the appropriate Committee or Council meeting, the meeting date, agenda item Each (communication, bill, resolution, or report number), and number of testifiers on the video submittal. video submittal shall be limited to a single agenda item . Video submittals may contain up to three individual testifiers and shall each be up to three minutes in length. Video testimony will not be played during the meeting; however, it will be distributed to Council Members prior to the meeting. The Office of the County Clerk reserves the right to refuse testimony containing inappropriate content or that is not in compliance with Council Rule 13 (Public Statements and Testimony).
