Kamakoa Nui at Waikoloa is a Workforce Housing Community developed by the County of Hawaii and overseen by the Office of Housing and Community Development(OHCD). Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii, a nonprofit organization which has successfully completed the construction of 19 new homes, 18 critical home repairs and other projects in West Hawai`i,has agreed to construct the exact home as determined by the Kamakoa Nui community development plans and specifications. They have obtained appraisals and have the funding to purchase the aforementioned parcels at the appraised fair market value. Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Director of Finance to negotiate the sale of this real property to Habitat For Humanity West Hawai`i. REQUEST: Resolution for the sale of fee simple land to Habitat for Humanity West Hawai'i, a non profit organization that will develop affordable housing on the land. B.
