:41r M.4. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 121 13 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR UTILITY PURPOSES TO <br /> HAWAII ELECTRIC LIGHT COMPANY, INC., OVER TAX MAP KEY (3) 2-2-015:033 <br /> (POR.) <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Electric Light Company, Inc., ("HELCO")plans to improve its <br /> transmission capability to the Kaiko`o area of South Hilo County and State of Hawai`i; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawai`i ("County") owns the parcel Tax Map Key (3) 2-2-015:033 <br /> where an existing HELCO unit is in place; and <br /> WHEREAS, HELCO requested an easement from the County of Hawai`i that will allow for <br /> additional equipment to be stationed there as described in Exhibit"A"; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Departments of the County of Hawai`i have stated no objections to this <br /> easement being granted; and <br /> WHEREAS, the independent appraisal valued this easement at FIVE THOUSAND FOUR <br /> HUNDRED AND 00/100 DOLLARS ($5,400.00); and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 2-111(2) and 2-112, Hawai`i County Code, the Council is <br /> authorized to grant easements, subject to reverter to the County of Hawai`i upon termination or <br /> abandonment of the specific purpose without auction upon a finding of substantial purpose; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the <br /> Finance Director is hereby authorized to negotiate a grant of easement to HELCO pursuant to Chapter <br /> 2, Article 19, Hawai`i County Code, across parcel Tax Map Key (3) 2-2-015:033 (por.), as described in <br /> 1 <br />
