ORDINANCE NO. 89 36
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1 of the Hawaii
County Code 1983, relating to speed limits, is hereby amended by
adding a new section to be appropriately numbered and to read as
follows:
"Section 24 - Schedule Ten miles Per hour
limit A speed limit of ten miles Per hour is established as set
forth in this schedule upon the streets or Portions of streets as
follows:
(1) Napoopoo Beach Road. from Napoopoo Road to its
northerly terminus in the vicinity of the Hikiau Heiau."
SECTION 2. New material is underscored. In printing this
ordinance, the underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
