Subject: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 115-13; Relating to Real Property Tes
Please see below a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 115-13. The amendment is illustrated
below via Ramseyer format; material to be added is underscored. The proposed amendment
reads as follows:
1. Adding a third Be It Further Resolved clause to read:
"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council shall take affirmative steps to
decrease the overall schedule of real property tax rates by 10 percent prior to the Fiscal Year
beginning July 1, 2014, and ending June 30, 2015, subject to the procedures set for in Section
19-90 of the Hawai`i County Code (Real property tax; determination of rates); and"
