AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 86 -31 OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII ADOPTED
APRIL 9, 1986, AND AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 88 -47 ADOPTED APRIL 18,
1988, RELATING TO GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance 86 -31, adopted on April 9,
1986, is amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. Authorization of Bonds. There are hereby
authorized for issuance and sale general obligation bonds of the
County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii (hereinafter referred to as the
"County ") in the principal amount of $14,300,000, the proceeds
derived from the sale of which shall be used to pay all or part of
the cost of appropriations for various public improvements of the
County to be financed from general obligation bond funds made (a) in
Ordinance No. 88 -47 adopted April 18, 1988; (b) in the Capital Budget
ordinance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1986 (Ordinance No.
85 -51, as amended); (c) in the Capital Budget ordinance for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 1985 (Ordinance No. 84 -32, as amended);
and (d) in the Capital Budget ordinance for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1984 (Ordinance No. 896, as amended). The proceeds may also
be used to repay funds borrowed from the General Fund pursuant to one
or more resolutions,of the Council.
In addition to the appropriations of the various public
improvements incorporated in the aforementioned capital budget
ordinances, as well as in Ordinance No. 88 -47, the remaining
proceeds, up to the delineated amounts, may be utilized for the
following project:

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
