'27c Murashige, Laura COUNTY OF HAWAII From: Dave Kisor[skyhawkmaintainer @gmail.com] 1013 NAY 13 AND 19 Sent: Monday, May 13, 2013 9:57 AM To: counciltestimony @co.hawaii.hi.us Subject: Bill 78 / I oppose it Aloha County Council Bill 78 I oppose The geothermal relocation fund should be strictly used for relocation. After someone is relocated using the funds, that sector should no longer be used for residential quarters. There needs to be a buffer zone established between geothermal operations and residential. After all, Civil Defense does have a 3.5 mile radius evacuation zone. Is the county that desperate for taxes that they'll have someone move into the danger zone? If a geothermal well fractured due to an earthquake and we experienced a blowout, things could get very ugly very fast. We elect someone to represent us, but for some reason some of them make better dictators than representatives. We need to keep Ka'u, Pahoa and Waimea testifying sites open. Is the county that broke?
