Dear Council members:
I am writing to wholeheartedly support Bill 479. As a Naturopathic Physician who has
investigated the risks of this technology , both to human health as well as the health of our
agricultural and environmental foundations, I find the bill well written. In relation to rationale,
scope and legal foundation of this bill, it seems to be just what is needed. It is refreshing to see
our council addressing concerns that are unfortunately all too often bought and paid for by those
who stand to make large scale profits with little or no regard to the long term impacts these
technologies may have on the health of our community.
