ORDINANCE NO. 89 66
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5,
section 24 -280, schedule 28, subsection (d) Kona, of the Hawaii
County Code 1983, relating to no parking at anytime, is amended by
deleting the following and to read as follows:
"(2) [Alii Drive, mauka side, beginning from a point six
hundred seventy feet Ka'u side of Lunapule Road and extending two
hundred seventy five feet in the Ka'u direction.]
RESERVED."
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5,
section 24 -280, schedule 28, subsection (d) Kona, of the Hawaii
County Code 1983, relating to no parking at anytime, is amended by
adding the following items to be appropriately numbered and to
read as follows:
"( ) Alii Drive mauka side beginning at Kamehameha III
Road and extending two thousand three hundred feet in the
northerly direction towards Kailua Village.
( ) Alii Drive mauka side beginning at the 2.5 mile
marker and extending eight thousand one hundred feet in the
northerly direction to Walua Road."
SECTION 3. Material to be deleted is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
