ORDINANCE NO. 89 108
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, OF THE
HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5,
section 24 -280, schedule 28, subsection (c) South Hilo, of the
Hawaii County Code 1983, relating to no parking at any time, is
amended by adding the following items to be appropriately
numbered and to read as follows:
"( ) Mamalahoa Highway, makai side, beginning at a
point three hundred seventy -five feet north of the Paoaikou
Transfer Station access road and extending five hundred twelve
feet in the northerly direction to the unnamed government
roadway.
f ) Wainaku Street, makai side, beginning at a point
two hundred eighty -two feet north of Lehua Street and extending
one hundred eighty feet in the northerly direction."
SECTION 2. New material is underscored. In printing this
ordinance, the underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without
the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
