AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1,
section 24 -255, schedule 3, of the Hawaii County Code 1983,
relating to 25 mile per hour speed limits, is amended by adding a
new item to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
North Kulani Road Route 11 to Pacific Paradise
Gardens Subdivision."
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1,
section 24 -256, schedule 4, of the Hawaii County Code 1983,
relating to 30 mile per hour speed limits, is amended by adding a
new item to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
"( ) North Kulani Road, Pacific Paradise Gardens
Subdivision to Ihope Road."
SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1,
section 24 -257, schedule 5, of the Hawaii County Code 1983,
relating to 35 mile per hour speed limits, is amended by adding a
new item to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
"( ) North Kulani Road, Ihooe Road to Stainback Highway."
SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 5.. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
