Re: Resolution No. 115, Draft 2, as amended, Relating to Real Property Tax Rates
This is to transmit Resolution No. 115, Draft 2, as amended by the contents of Communication
No. 279.2 at the May 30, 2013 Special Meeting of the Council, which were further amended to
correct a clerical error, adding a third "Be It Further Resolved" clause as follows:
"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council shall take affirmative steps to decrease the
overall schedule of real property tax rates by 10 percent prior to the Fiscal Year beginning
July 1, 2014, and ending June 30, 2015, subject to the procedures in Section 19-90 of the Hawaii
County Code (Real property tax; determination of rates); and"
