Poindexter, Chair " Committee on Finance Co DATE: June 3, 2013 SUBJECT: Bill No. 40, Draft 4 Amendments to the FY 2013-2014 Capital Budget This is to transmit Bill No. 40, Draft 4, which was the result of amendments approved at the May 30, 2013, Special Meeting of the Council. The amendments removed/added the following projects: Projects Appropriation (in $000) 1 Shipman Park Expansion 300,000 2 Puna Regional Police Station 300,000 3 Puna Regional Fire Station 300,000 4 Kea'au Bus Terminal 300,000 5 Na'alehu Park - Children's Playground 250,000 6 Miloli`i Beach Park 200,000 7 Ali`i Kai Subdivision New Park Development(reapp. & increase 5596.24) 1,500,000 8 Clarence Lum Won Park Pavilion 150,000 9 West Hawai`i Civic Center Improvements (covered walkways & stairwells) 251,000 10 Ka`awaloa Parking Lot 372,000 11 Kawalhae Resource/Community Center/Emergency Shelter 50,000 12 Kea'au Civic Center (removed) (1,100,000) Net Increase 2,873,000 The above amendments increased the FY 2013-2014 Capital Budget by $2,873,000 and 11 projects for a total of$265,455,000 and 110 projects.
