Subject: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 112-13
Please see below a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 112-13. The proposed amendment is
illustrated by Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 112-13 (material to be
deleted is bracketed and stricken; material to be added is underscored).
1. The title of Resolution No. 112-13 is amended to read as follows:
"A RESOLUTION URGING THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION AND
PATH (PEOPLES ADVOCACY FOR TRAILS HAWAI`I)TO RENAME THE OLD WALUA
ROAD BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN SCENIC ROUTE TO THE ["

2. The enacting clause is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
Department of Parks and Recreation and PATH are urged to rename the Old Walua Road Bicycle and
Pedestrian Scenic Route [in honor of Toni Fortin Blair.] to the "Old Walua Road: The Toni Fortin
Blair Memorial Bicycle and Pedestrian Scenic Path."
