The applicant proposes to comply with Section 21-28(a) of the County Code, whereby they will construct the sewer extension and bear the total cost of the installation for the County and in return, request reimbursement for the cost of the sewer extension. The sewer extension serving the Phase 1 development will permit the wastewater generated from this phase of the subdivision to be treated at the Kealakehe Wastewater Treatment Plant. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Comm. 181: AMENDS CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE 4, SECTION 20-47 OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY (Bill 44) CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO COLLECTION OF FEES From Council Member Zendo Kern, dated March 5, 2013. The bill establishes new payment methods for commercial haulers, and reduces the grace period before which a finance charge is implemented from 60 days to thirty 30 days for all overdue collections of solid waste fees.
