Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 121-13, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 121-13, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication
No. 290 dated May 16, 2013, authorizes a grant of easement for utility purposes to Hawaii Electric
Light Company, Inc., over Tax Map Key (3)3-2-015:033 (por.)
The resolution authorizes the Director of Finance to negotiate a grant of easement to Hawai`i
Electric Company, Inc. to allow for additional equipment to be stationed on the above-referenced
site pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 19 of the Hawai`i County Code.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawai`i County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the
County, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities or other personal property or of real
estate or any interest of real estate.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 121-13, and
recommends its adoption.
