Pursuant to Section 92-7, Hawai`i Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the
Hawai`i County Council will be holding a public hearing to hear testimony on Bill 178,
Draft 2:
Amends Section 25-8-3 (North Kona Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter 25
(Zoning Code) of the Hawai`i County Code, by Changing the District
Classification from General Industrial (MG-3a) to Project District at Ooma
2nd, North Kona, Hawai`i, Covered by Tax Map Key 7-3-9:22 (approx. 83.0
acres); Clifto's Kona Coast, LLC, applicant.
Copies of this bill may be reviewed at the Office of the County Clerk, 25 Aupuni Street,
Hilo, Hawai`i; the Office of the Mayor, 75-5706 Kuakini Highway, Suite 103, Kailua-
Kona, Hawai`i; and the County Council's Kona Branch Office, 77-6399 Nalani Street,
Suite 104, Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i (during the hours of 8 a.m. through 4 p.m.).
All persons desiring to express their views on the above matter may do so orally at the
hearing or by submitting written statements by Wednesday, January 21, 2004, 4:30 p.m.
to the County Clerk's Office, 25 Aupuni Street, Hilo, Hawai`i 96720. Written statements
submitted after this date, through January 23, 2004, 4 p.m., may be submitted to the
County Council's Kona Branch Office, 77-6399 Nalani Street, Suite 104, Kailua-Kona,
Hawai`i 96740.
