Pursuant to the requirements of Section 19-90, Article 11, Chapter 19 of the Hawai`i County Code,
notice is hereby given that the following public hearings will be held by the Council of the County of Hawai`i
for the purpose of considering real property tax rates for all classes of real property in the County of Hawai`i for
Fiscal Year July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006.
DATES: May 17, 2005 (Tuesday) May 19, 2005 (Thursday)
TIMES: 5:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m.
PLACES: County Building Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa
County Council Room Keauhou II
25 Aupuni Street 78-128 `Ehukai Street
Hilo, Hawai`i Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i
The County Council will consider the following tax rates(no change from last year) for all classes of
real property for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006:

All persons desiring to express their views on the above matter may do so orally at the hearing and must
register prior to the convening of the meeting. Those unable to attend may submit their written statements by
Tuesday,May 17, 2005, 4:30 p.m. to the County Clerk's Office,25 Aupuni Street, Hilo,Hawai`i 96720.
Written statements submitted after this date,through May 19, 2005,4 p.m., may be submitted to the County
Council's Kona Branch Office,Kailua Trade Center, 75-5706 Hanama Place, Suite 109,Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
96740.
The meeting place is accessible for persons with physical disabilities. Persons who need special
