HomeMy WebLinkAboutNTC COUNCIL 2006-11-09 Public Hearing 2004-2006 C HAWAII COUNTY COUNCIL'S NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Date: November 9, 2006 (Thursday) _• -II Time: 6:30 p.m. Place: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa 78-128 Ehukai Street Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i Pursuant to §92-41, Hawai`i Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Hawaii County Council will be holding a public hearing to hear testimony on: Bill 251, Draft 2: Amends Section 25-8-3 (North Kona Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition), by Changing the District Classification from Agricultural (A-5a) to Residential and Agricultural (RA-la) (approx. 97.347 acres) and Multiple Family Residential (RM-3.5) (approx. 10.829 acres) at Moeauoa 2nd, North Kona, Hawaii, Covered by Tax Map Key 7-5-3:7, 8, 9. {SCD Kona 108, LLC, Applicant} All interested persons are invited to attend and they shall be afforded the opportunity to be heard. Those persons wishing to testify in person must register with the Council/Clerk's staff prior to the convening of the hearing. Those testifying in person and submitting written testimony should bring seventeen (17) copies of the testimony for distribution at the meeting. Those persons unable to testify in person may submit testimony (1) by mail to the County Clerk's Office in Hilo at 25 Aupuni Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, (2) by facsimile to (808) 961-8912, or (3) by e-mail to counciltestimony@co.hawaii.hi.us. Copies will be made and distributed at the meeting when transmitted in a timely manner. In any case, both oral and written testimony will be considered public record. The meeting place is accessible for persons with physical disabilities. Persons who need special accommodations to attend this meeting should call 961-8255 by November 8, 2006.
