l'OTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to the requirements of Section 19-90,Article 11,Chapter 19 of the Hawai`i County Code, notice is
hereby given that the following public hearing will be held by the Council of the County of Hawai`i for the purpose of
considering real property tax rates for all classes of real property in the County of Hawai`i for Fiscal Year Jk 1,2008 to
June 30, 2009.

The County Council will consider the following tax rates within the following range of ra.es for anlasses of real
property for the Fiscal Year July 1,2008 to June 30,2009(current real property tax rates for the Fiscal Vear
July 1,2007 to June 30,2008 are shown in bold):

All persons desiring to express their views on the above matter may do so orally at the hearing and must register
with the County Clerk's staff. Those submitting written testimony at the hearing should bring seventeen copies for
distribution. Testimony may also be submitted: (1)by mail to the County Clerk's Office,25 Aupuni Street, Room No. 209,
Hilo, Hawai`i, 96720,(2)by facsimile to(808)961-8912,or(3)by e-mail to counciltestimony @co.hawaii.hi.us. For
testimony received via e-mail or fax, copies will be distributed at the hearing when transmitted in a timely manner. All oral
and written testimony will be made a part of the public record. The meeting place is accessible for persons with disabilities.

Videoconferencin is available at the following locations: (1)Kona Council Office at the Kailua Trade Center(75-5706
Hanama Place, Suite 109, Kailua-Kona)and(2) Waimea Council Office at the Holumua Center(64-1067 Mamalahoa
Highway, Suite 5, Waimea).
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes(hereinafter"HRS") § 92-3.5,the Hawai`i County
Council will be conducting its April 25,2008, meeting via videoconference. Council Members will be present at the
following locations:
