Dear County Council,
Passing Bill 79 would be a terrible mistake. Today both farmers, scientists, and consumers
need GMO technology more than ever. It is sad to see misinformed people being so fearful
while ignoring scientific truths. And to see that fear turn to anger is even sadder.
Please do the sensible thing and know that allowing responsibly grown GMO crops is a positive
and beneficial thing for Hawaii.
