SUBJECT: A Bill for an Ordinance to Amend Chapter 25, Article 1, Article 4, and Article 5, of the
Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) Relating to Farmers Markets as
Permitted Uses in Certain Zoning Districts
Attached please find a bill for an ordinance amending Chapter 25, Article 1, Article 4, and
Article 5, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as Amended) relating to zoning. The bill
would allow farmers markets as permitted uses in residential, residential-commercial mixed use, and
agricultural districts, provided certain conditions exist.
Please place the attached bill on the next appropriate committee agenda.
