CALL TO ORDER - 11:08 a.m. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA REFERRALS Comm. 319: URGES THE NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION (Res. 133-13) AND THE HAWAI‘I STATE LEGISLATURE TO ASSIST IN CREATING A SAFE SWIM AREA NEAR THE POHOIKI BOAT RAMP IN THE DISTRICT OF PUNA AND TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR A FEASIBLITY STUDY From Council Member Zendo Kern, dated June 17, 2013. The Pohoiki Boat Ramp (State facility) is adjacent to the 15.65 acre County owned and operated Isaac Kepo‘okalani Hale Beach Park. Recommends adoption of Res. 133-13 : Ayes: Committee Members Eoff, Ford, Ilagan, Kanuha, Kern, Poindexter, Wille, Yoshimoto, and Chair Onishi - 9. Noes: None. Absent: None. The discussion will include HSAC’s Legislative Package process and upcoming deadlines to submit legislation. The email shall indicate the appropriate Committee or Council meeting, the meeting date, agenda item Each (communication, bill, resolution, or report number), and number of testifiers on the video submittal. video submittal shall be limited to a single agenda item . Video submittals may contain up to three individual testifiers and shall each be up to three minutes in length. Video testimony will not be played during the meeting; however, it will be distributed to Council Members prior to the meeting.
