LOCATION: Council Chambers, Hilo, Hawai`i
TITLE: A Resolution urging the National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration and the Hawai`i State Legislature to assist in creating a
safe swim area near the Pohoiki Boat Ramp in the District of Puna and to
provide funding for a feasibility study.
EXPLANATION: Supports efforts to create a safe swim area in Puna. Urges the National
Oceanic and Atmospheric Association and the Hawai`i State Legislature
to work with the Hawai`i County administration to fund and to undertake a
feasibility study for the creation of a swim scale.
