As a life-long resident of North Kohala, I strongly support Duane
Kanuha to be confirmed as our next County of Hawaii Planning Director.
I have seen Duane lead the county, state and private sector in land
management matters balancing land use with the community needs. He has
done and continues to do a very credible job. He is a man of integrity.
