Testimony on Comm. 327 — Appointment of Duane Kanuha as
Planning Management Director.
As a former County of Hawaii Public Works Director,
Department of Transportation State Highway Administrator,
and Resident Citizen of the County of Hawaii, I ask your
support to confirm the Appointment of Duane Kanuha to
County of Hawaii Planning Director.
Mr. Kanuha has been a lifelong planner, who has previously
served as Planning Director as part of Mayor Inouye's term.
He has the national, statewide and local knowledge as well as
the understanding to serve as our Planning Director.
