Great leaders have the ability to inspire us beyond their lifetime.1 am writing to you in seeking your support for gill # 79, limiting the cultivation of GMO seeds and crops in Hawaii County. until unbiased facts and political gains can be removed from the equation in the safety of Cenetically Modified Organisms in seeds and crops,You/we must stand for people. Not a product or service or metric or number.Stand for real living, breathing people and we can protect our community for the next seven generations. Why is GMO being challenged around the world?because of politics, power, and pollution. Why do I want Hawaii County to support gill #79? because Hawaii County currently has the option of being dissentient in not following Monsanto's totalitarian approach of owning all the food. We must be the safety net of Hawaii `state (Norwegian island Spitsbergen).We must protect our land and waterways free of excessive toxic chemical waste (Anniston,Alabama). Our heritage/heirloom crops free of"Transgenic Contamination"(Oaxaca, Mexico). Our consciousness free of making an ignorant choice (cotton farmers of India).
