Subject: In support of Bill 79
Dear Hawaii Council Representative,
I want to express my support for the passage of Bill 79.
Please protect our island from more unregulated GMO introductions.
Please help us to have power against the major corporations that want to experiment with
transgenic crops on our island.
I strongly feel we need to protect the natural genetics of our crops in Hawaii. We cannot stand
to lose the ability to market Hawaii agricultural products if they get contaminated. Many
countries have already banned GMO imports.
The Big Island can be as a haven of internationally sought after GMO-Free produce and
products.
