Subject: Kauai County Council Bill 79
Aloha, and a heart-felt mahalo to all of you council members who are standing up for the
people, aina, flora & fauna of the "Garden Island" in supporting bill 79 to ban GMO' s on
Kauai.
This is a major step in securing the rights of those of us who choose to buy, grow and
consume non-GMO foods and crops for ourselves and ohanas . We have no other protections,
since many of the foods and crops we consume and grow are in-adequately labeled, or
monitored for the damages they may potentially create in our environment .
Because this is such an important piece of legislation, please be assured that you will
receive the support of my entire voting family and extended ohana in the passing of this
monumental protection of our island.
