STATE OF HAWAI I ,TE OF.MA,i,► RESOLUTION NO. 146 13 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A TABLET PC TO THE OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY WHEREAS, Dell is donating one (1) Latitude 10 tablet computer, with an estimated value of$1,223 to the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney; and WHEREAS, this tablet computer is being donated as part of Dell's program to provide equipment to businesses for evaluation; and WHEREAS, this equipment is to be used at the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's Hilo office by deputy prosecutors; and WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawaii County Code states that any gifts or donations of money, securities, or personal property which fall within the capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may be accepted by resolution approved by the Council; and WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney recommends the acceptance of this donation; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawai'i County Charter, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawaii County Code, the Council of the County of Hawaii accepts this donation.
