Subject: I say "NO" to GMOs!
Dear Council,
I am writing to let you know that I *SUPPORT BILL 79,* which would ban GMOs from being planted on Hawaii
Island, the island I have called home for more than 10 years. Please, please vote in support of this bill and keep our
food safe. We do not yet know the long-term consequences of eating foods with GMOs and, until we have studies
that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that GMOs are safe, they should not be planted on our island. I urge you to
use good sense as your vote has the power to set a great precedent.
