Subject: GMO for Hawaii Island
Aloha kakou, Please prohibit any GMO crops on your island. The amount and poisonous
toxic chemicals that have to be sprayed on these crops, and the fact that they must totally
poison the soil to even get these crops to grow is bad for the 'aina, all the various people, the
water table( which everyone relies on to stay alive on these islands)and the soil bacteria and
chemistry . Most of the other islands have already been poisoned by uncaring greedy biotech
companies, who don't care about people or the land. Please don't do this to your island, too.
