Subject: Testimony in support of Bill 79 to ban the use of GMO on Hawaii Island.
Aloha,
I am writing in regards to Bill 79 and would like to express my utter support for this Bill. I have been a
resident of O'ahu for almost eight years now,but visit Hawaii (Big Island) very often with the goal of
relocating there soon. If GMO crops were to be allowed on Big Island, this will definitely reduce my
frequent visits to the island, and also extinguish my desire of becoming a resident of this beautiful island, as
it is its raw,unaltered beauty and nature that draws me the most. GMOs would be a contamination of the
island's sacred nature.
I strongly hope that this and all other testimonials will be taken into account.
