Aloha.
I would like my testimony entered in to the record on bill 79. As an employer and farmer/ornamental
grower I have been in the business of breeding plants for 20+ years. The proponents of the bill against
GMO's do so without real knowledge of what is actually being done or how it works. There is no proof
that the use of GMO crops leads to increase in the use of chemicals but exactly the opposite.
True leadership is doing the right thing regardless of public opinion. This is a time to lead.
