Subject: SUPPORT BILL 79
I urge you to *SUPPORT BILL 79,* which would ban GMOs from being planted on the island of Hawai'i.
Hawai'i is one of the most desirable and popular vacation destinations in the world. I, however, would be *extremely*
reluctant to visit if GMOs are allowed to be cultivated, and I would urge all of my friends and those in my circle to boycott
any destination that is a breeding ground for such a harmful technology. On the other hand, the Big Island would be a
particularly attractive destination if it remained GMO-free. Beautiful *and* ecologically conscious—now that makes for a
great vacation spot.
