More and more scientists are admitting the instability of GMOs and the unpredictable results. On Kauai we are seeing a great increase in illness related to the toxins needed to support the GMO crops. Please continue to support everyone's health with bills such as this one. As a resident of Kauai, I support the bill to ban GMOs from your county. I owned a farm in Keauhou Mauka and know what a gift it is to care for the land and preserve in a healthy manner for the future generations. On Kauai we are faced with a much bigger problem. Please ban GMOs and protect the land, the people and the future from the unknown effects of GMO foods on all of us. The modification of genes is unpredictable in its results as stated by many reputable scientists.
