It proposes to ban widely used agricultural techonologies based upon the values and feelings of a small minority. While I understand and respect that some people are deeply uncomfortable with the use of genetic modification as a technology, especially as applied to the food supply, the attempt to ban all new use of genetically modified crops and to burden all genetically modified crops currently being grown with unreasonable regulation, is over-reaching and overly restrictive. At this point there is a wide variety of views on GMO technology, so it is premature, at best, for a small minority to impose their values and feelings upon the entire agricultural industry of Hawaii island. Please prevent this from happening by voting no on Bill 79. n Sincerely, Michelle Galimba Kuahiwi Ranch -- -' cell: (808) 430-4927 . '1n- mgalimba(ckuahiwiranch.com 3:›r" 31 3? Comm. N o Q3 Ref.
