Re: ban GMO from being planted on Hawai'i
As a organic farmer attempting to integrate the preservation of native species with introduced edible
landscaping - I OBJECT to any Monsanto or GMO plants being allowed on the Island of Hawaii. I have
many friends in agriculture living on Maui and Molokai who are SUFFERING, and DEVASTATED
by the indiscretionate testing and contamination of their property and produce from unknown chemicals
and experimental biological plant life forms by Monsanto and similar organizations who have
irreversibly altered the 'aina' of the land.
