Aloha
Other then the 2 year French Italian Study, there has never been a satisfactory long term study of the
effects of genetically modified organisms on class mammalia, of which humans are a member.
Monsanto's study lasted 90 days, but during the 2 year study (which had to be held in the deepest of
secrecy to prevent sabotage from the GMO producer), the rats were fed GMO maize and developed
tumors around 120 days into the experiment. They were not force fed, but allowed to eat as rats (the
cute and cuddly 4 legged kind) normally eat. In my opinion and that of many others, rather than waste
the 4 legged rats, we should be using the GMO executives (as opposed to the four legged kind) and their
families as the lab rats. If it's safe, then they shouldn't have any problems with that. We are told that
even in Monsanto cafeterias, there is a choice for those who do not want GMO in their food. Scientists
who designed the rBGH in cows milk either quit drinking milk or bought their own cow. Does that tell
you anything?
If GMO is so great, grand and wonderful, why have so many European and Asian countries either
placed restrictions, demanded and got labeling, banned them altogether and or burned the crops?
Whenever the public declares loud enough they do not want a product or service from industry, the
industry whines to government to protect it from the evil consumers. It doesn't seem to make a
difference which level of government, although state and federal seem to be their preferred weapons
against the public, they pour money into someone and then those who disagree with industry are forced
to go up against unjust laws that were either influenced or crafted by industry.
Their biochemical warfare agent is a systemic, as it enters via the root system and is distributed through
the entire plant and can't simply be washed off prior to consuming. This brings us back to testing, as
they must know it isn't safe, but they don't care about that, as they are only interested in sales. The pro
GMO faction paid $46 million dollars to prevent California's Prop 37 from passing; whereas, the
organic supporters paid $9 million to support it on a very uneven battlespace which many still believe
included vote manipulation. If it's that safe, why did they pay out that much to prevent Prop 37 from
passing? I make warfare analogies not just because I am a Veteran of Military Service, but because any
control of the food supply is class warfare, is not sustainable and not to be tolerated. I consider GMO so
nasty, I don't even want my cat eating them.
Mahalo for your consideration,
