I am aware that some of the already existing GMO crops will be exempted from the general GMO ban. I hope that the council takes the matter of opposing any further GMO crops on our island very seriously and will support this bill. We want to be able to grow our own organic produce here. As seeds from GMO plants often contaminate other crops, I very strongly object to GMO plants and wish to be protected from the use of those.
