Subject: Support Bill 79
Dear Hawaii Council Representative,
I strongly urge you to stand up to support small farmers. Bill 79 restricts new GMO. It will
not affect those who already use GMO crops. It will protect those who would like their
future crops safe from contaminating pollen. Bill 79 will prevent the Big Island from being
used by monied biotech interests as an experimentle island.
The Big Island can THRIVE as a haven of internationally sought after GMO-Free produce
and products, such as non-GMO soybeans and alfalfa, but not without Bill 79. Will you take
a stand? o n
Please vote for a healthy and sustainable future for Hawaii Island. �,...�
