Subject: GMO restrictions Embarrasing
GMO crops are planted on millions of acres worldwide. Literally Trillions of meals , food
items containing GMO, Soy Canola,Corn, Sugar beet products have been consumed Alfalfa and
cotton are bred and harvested as 'roundup Ready. Monsanto's patent on breeding roundup
ready seeds expires next year, (2014) . Because of American Science Farmers and ranchers
are able to provide food at a reasonable cost from Argentina to Canada and throughout
Europe and Asia.
"Greenpeace" has been labeled as INHUMANE for their organized opposition to a true GMO
CROP developed in the Philippines named "GOLDEN RICE", white rice bred to carry the carrot
gene for VITAMIN A.
The rice will be orange in color and an estimated 300, 000 children a year will not go
blind or suffer from poor health if the rice is farmed in Asia.
You should google golden rice and learn before making a decision based on hysteria.
The councilperson from Kohala reminds me of Community Leaders who were stupid and
unscientific during the SALEM WITCH HUNTS in our nation's history.
