With respect to the Coulcil Members, I am a small farmer in South Kona. I am in favor of Bill 79 as amending
Chapter 14 of the Hawai'i County Code. It has been proven that GMO crops contaminate other crops via pollen.
This contamination prevents farmers choice to grow non GMO or organic crops. We need to preserve our rights to
choose healthy, heirloom, non GMO foods. Please vote to limit or illiminate this unfair contamination of our farms.
