I hereby want to give testimony to the above proposed bill:
I fully support this bill as I am strongly against the further
introduction of any more GMO crops. I am aware that some of the already
existing GMO crops will be exempted from the general GMO ban.
I hope that the council takes the matter of opposing any further GMO crops
on our island very seriously and will support this bill.
My health issues make it important that the growing of organically grown
produce here is not impeded. As seeds from GMO plants often contaminate
other plants, I very strongly object to GMO plants and wish to be
protected from the use of those.
